OUR MISSION
We are an outreach founded on biblical principles. We serve in the spirit of excellence with integrity and compassion for our community, our state, and our nation. We are establishing a reputation of reaching the lost and broken-hearted while treating everyone with dignity and respect as we minister to the total person. Our desire is to help impoverished communities, family and individuals with food, clothing, shelter, literacy, and job placement opportunities. – K.J. Watkins
AFTER SCHOOL PROGRAM
The Step of Faith After School Program is supported by the Franklin County School System and other community partners. Students are dropped off at the Boyd Outz Learning Center, where after a hot meal and a snack they are helped with their homework before being picked up by their parents.
Senior Food Assistance Program
Through partnership with the Northeast Georgia Food Bank, The Senior Food Assistance Program provides monthly food bags to seniors in the community experiencing food insecurity. Each bag include juice, cereal, canned foods, meat, and refrigerated cheese. Food boxes are available to seniors aged 55+, and are distributed on the 2nd Wednesday of every month at the Step of Faith Headquarters in Lavonia, Ga at no cost. Fire Disaster Assistance Program
In effort to assist those who have been impacted by fire, the Fire Disaster Assistance Program provide essential toiletries and food to families in need at no cost. For more information and/or assistance, please contact Step of Faith Outreach.
COMMUNITY GARDEN
The Lavonia Community Garden opened on April 30, 2011 thanks to the hard work and organization of Mike and Susan O’Connell.

Home Depot Volunteers come on their off day from work to help prepare the Lavonia Community Garden for Garden Raisin on April 30 – they were an Awesome Team. More photos to follow in Part II.
Emergency Food Assistance Program

Senior Christmas Gift Baskets
